事业单位工勤岗,指的是:做清洁,后勤之类的岗位。在以前,这些编制待遇比一般岗位待遇差,现在跟一般岗位做的事情差不多,待遇也差不多。比如:有个人的编制是工勤人员,现在不是做清洁后勤之类的工作,也可以分配来做民政、统计、社保工作。

事业单位的岗位类别分为：管理人员、专业技术人员、工勤人员。管理人员一般是指行政管理人员(干部)，专业技术人员一般是指从事某种专业技术的人员(属于技术干部)，工勤人员一般指工人。工人分为：技术工人和普通工人两种。“专技”指的是专业技术人员，而不是技术工人。

按照规定，管理岗位指担负领导职责或管理任务的工作岗位，这一岗位的设置要适应增强单位运转效能、提高工作效率、提升管理水平的需要;专业技术岗位指从事专业技术工作，具有相应专业技术水平和能力要求的工作岗位，这一岗位的设置要符合专业技术工作的规律和特点，适应发展社会公益事业与提高专业水平的需要;工勤技能岗位指承担技能操作和维护、后勤保障、服务等职责的工作岗位这一岗位的设置要适应提高操作维护技能，提升服务水平的要求，满足单位业务工作的实际需要。试行办法同时规定，为鼓励事业单位后勤服务社会化，已经实现社会化服务的一般性劳务工作，不再设置相应的工勤技能岗位。同时公布的试行办法实施意见则明确规定了不同性质的事业单位，三种岗位人员所占的比例：——主要以专业技术提供社会公益服务的事业单位，应保证专业技术岗位占主体，一般不低于单位岗位总量的70%。——主要承担社会事务管理职责的事业单位，应保证管理岗位占主体，一般应占单位岗位总量的一半以上。——主要承担技能操作维护、服务保障等职责的事业单位，应保证工勤技能岗位占主体，一般应占单位岗位总量的一半以上。——事业单位主体岗位之外的其他两类岗位，应该保持相对合理的结构比例。
