　　事业单位统考是指多省份以相同时间、相同内容、相同评分标准的形式进行的事业单位联合考试。全国事业单位统考由最初的宁夏、内蒙古、浙江逐步推广到湖北、广西、云南、贵州、青海、甘肃等多个省份。影响力不亚于全国公务员联考，并且有逐步推向全国的趋势。

　　基于事业单位不同招聘岗位对人的能力素质有不同要求，事业单位公开招聘分类考试公共科目笔试分为：

　　综合管理类(A类)

　　主要适应于事业单位中以行政、事务和业务管理为主的岗位。

　　综合管理类职位具体从事规划、咨询、决策、组织、指挥、协调、监督及机关内部管理工作。

　　主要招聘专业有：汉语言与文秘类、法律类、新闻传播类、治安学、治安管理、社会工作、老年服务、青少年服务、思想政治教育、安全工程、公共事业管理、行政管理、人力资源管理、专业不限岗位等。

　　社会科学专技类(B类)

　　主要适应于经济、新闻、律师、出版编辑、公证员、会计、翻译、工艺美术、艺术专业(编剧，作曲，指挥、美术等)一般性社会科学研究人员岗位。

　　主要适用于事业单位人文社科类专业技术岗位。

　　中小学教师类(D类)

　　主要适用于中小学和中专等教育机构的教师岗位。
