　　事业单位人员类别中“人员分类”是指单位领导正职、单位领导副职、内设机构领导正职、内设机构领导副职、非领导人员。

　　事业单位一般是国家设置的带有一定的公益性质的机构，但不属于政府机构，其工作人员与公务员是不同的。根据国家事业单位分类改革精神，事业单位不再分为全额拨款事业单位、差额拨款事业单位，而分为公益一类事业单位、公益二类事业单位，还新兴了利用国有资产举办的事业单位和社会资本举办事业单位，是国家不拨款的事业单位。

　　事业单位考试一般先由各用人单位报用人计划，由各地人事部门审核后，发布招考公告和招考计划，并通过报名(一般规模大的采取网络报名，人数少则现场报名。)，报名、笔试、资格复查、面试、体检、录用等程序，招考公告和每个阶段的成绩以及公告发布在各级人事、人才网站上，笔试和面试基本上各占一半，分数有的46开，也有岗位只需参加笔试。
