基于事业单位不同招聘岗位对人的能力素质有不同要求，事业单位公开招聘分类考试分为综合管理类（A类）、社会科学专技类（B类）、自然科学专技类（C类）、中小学教师类（D类）和医疗卫生类（E类）五个类别。

1、综合管理类（A类）

综合管理类主要适应于事业单位中以行政、事务和业务管理为主的岗位，具体从事的是规划、咨询、决策、组织、指挥、协调、监督及机关内部管理工作。招聘专业主要有：汉语言与文秘类、法律类、新闻传播类、治安学、治安管理、社会工作、老年服务、青少年服务、思想政治教育、安全工程、公共事业管理、行政管理、人力资源管理、专业不限岗位等。

3自然科学专技类（C类）

自然科学专技类主要适用于事业单位自然科学类，指工程、农技、统计、船舶、民航飞行、实验员、技工学校教师等一般性自然科学研究人员岗位。招聘专业主要有：计算机科学与技术类、食品科学、化学、影视摄影与制作、土木工程、电气工程及其自动化、车辆工程、网络工程、地理信息科学、软件工程、测绘工程、地质工程、地球化学、地下水科学与工程、资源勘查工程、地质矿产勘查、区域地质调查及矿产普查、消防工程、交通运输、交通运输管理、桥梁与隧道工程、水利水电工程、农业水利工程、水利水电建筑工程、动物医学、动物科学、草业科学、森林资源类、风景园林、电力技术类等专业。

4中小学教师类（D类）

主要适用于中小学和中专等教育机构的教师岗位。含小学(幼教)教师、中学教师、中等专业学校教员。

5医疗卫生类（E类）

主要适用于医疗卫生机构的专业技术岗位。含医师、药师、护士、技师五类。
